The Cafe was my favourite gig to work on, ever! Probably because the crew absolutely rocked :-))))
. It was on air already for 2 years when I was asked to radically change the look of the set. I though it would be a good idea to change it into one of these grungy places where anything goes.Where you can write on the walls, splash paint around, where furniture is upside down. Something that I'd come across back home. So we textured everything OTT, splashed paint around and scratched the walls.
So here are some pics of the set from the dry run years ago, me after the very last episode in front of the neon sign, set in the making in Shadow Creation's workshop and some color references I gave to the guys from Shadow. Also a couple of links to the YouTube videos of the performances. Enjoy!
I'm originally from Krakow where I studied Art & Interior Architecture. I live in Ireland and work as Production Designer.I love coffee, charcoal and cold early mornings. In a perfect world I'd be a full time artist in little studio somewhere in Prague, with a good whiskey bottle in the cupboard, an endless row of Serge Lutens perfume bottles in the bedroom and a purring cat on my lap :-)
